äklipz, pronounced [a-clips] and for those wondering where I got the word, well... it's the "tag name" I chose when doing graffiti back in the good old 90's.
Fact: I recently tried doing the worm again and almost broke my back realizing I wasn't as flexible as a few years ago.
About myself...
My name is Dominique Lussier, devoted artist and nature enthusiast who always finds himself seeking for the “unbeaten path” and uncharted territory - whether in Life or in Arts. Curious by nature, and always up for exploring, new adventures, camping, hiking, travelling, canoeing, mountain biking, puppies and leisurely walks on the beach. Hahaha... But seriously, my passions are basically the “Great Outdoors”, web design and development. Two different worlds in a way, my yin and yang.
Fact: I once toured Canada living in my car and tent for about 6 months. Backcountry camping in the Alberta Rockies, Banff, Jasper... then continuing on until we reached the West Coast of Vancouver, and onto The Island. I never felt so free in my life!
About my style...
If someone asked me who influenced my style the most? The typical answer would be some Grand Master of The Italian Renaissance or some famous artist. My answer would have to be friends and classmates. There were always a few people in my art class that I would envy. These people had such a talent and made it look so easy! On the flipside, this always motivated me to work harder and to be as creative as I could ever be.
Fact: My mom must of asked me a million times when I was growing up to stop drawing aliens and guns.
